  2. oooh, those fat quarters are scrumptious!!!
Since Valentine's day is on a Monday, no big plans for hubby and I. He is on the day shift that week though, so we might take the kids to a local restaurant for a fun Chinese dinner. Later in the month though, we are headed to Vegas baby! We can't wait! We are so much in need of an "adults only" vacation!
Thanks for the chance to win!

  3. I have two small kids and a definite lack of babysitters :( If we can't find a sitter, we will have a quiet romantic lunch-hour for two on the Friday before. :)

  4. My husband and I recently moved away from the only state we have ever lived. This year we are looking into going horseback riding. I have a personalized puzzle (he loves puzzles) with our names, a picture of us, and year married on the way for his gift.

But I won't be doing anything special on the 14th :)

  6. Since my husband has Mondays off, I thought I would try to plan an "un-romantic" holiday, and do something he likes to do. He HATES Valentine's day... I am hoping this will turn him around :-)

  7. My hubby, little boy and I will be at Disney during Valentines day! We are going to be eating an early dinner with Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger to celebrate! I will probably make Valentines for the characters for my little one to give them. It will definitely be a Valentine's to remember!!

  8. On the actual day I'll be taking my 4 month old for his well visit check-up and my 5 year old follow-up strep test....he's had strep 3 times in 2 months.

On Feb. 11th some friends of ours are having a Valentine party for the kids, so we'll be leaving our 5 year old at that and hopefully go out to dinner(taking along our 4 month old) and maybe watch a movie at home before picking up the 5 year old.

  9. I have a one year old and no babysitters. My husband and I will probably enjoy a truly romantic movie after her bedtime, something like Avatar or Dark Knight :)

  10. oops, my email address: craftymamad@gmail.com

  11. I will have a waffle and ice cream breakfast with my 15 year old niece and her family (it's her birthday).

In the evening I will get my fav take-out food (Thai cashew chicken), a movie and a new bottle of bubble bath. Dinner and a movie after a soak in the tub with bubbles and candles. Since there is no romantic interest this year, I will have a "rotic" evening. That's romantic without the man. :)

Love the fat quarter material and the yarn heart. Blessings, susan2009@gmail.com

I will tho be making a nice dinner for my husband and daughter with lots of treats, so it will be nice and relaxing!!

Thank you for such a sweet comment on my blog Our Life on a Marquee. The Mr. decided to skip the 14 Days of Love this year because he said he was gearing up for the actual day of Valentines. But he has showed off each and every gift I've given to him and bragged about them lots which is almost just as much fun! Can't wait to see what the big surprise is! :)

  42. What a cute giveaway! I'm really not sure what are plans are! We were engaged 3 years ago on Valentine's Day and since then we always end up doing some sort of home improvement project over Lover's Day. One year we cleaned, painted and organized our laundry room. Another year we purchased a new dishwasher! This year, we may be painting the Hub's office (if I can get him on board). Whatever it is we are doing, I don't really mind as long as I'm doing it with my Husband! :)
