Hot / Cold packs for little boo boo's

So my little girl has become quit a climber, unfortunately not a very good one. It seems as though we have at least two good falls a day. Every time I put ice on her boo boo its more traumatic then the fall itself. I have heard about making hot/cold packs by using rice or whole corn and fabric squares. So when we were at the grain store the other day I picked a 50# bag of whole corn (I realize it's a little excessive). All I had to do was sew together some fabric squares and fill them with the whole corn. Easy right? Well not so, they took 4 days to make. And I was just begining to think that I would open up my etsy store again, haha! Maybe next month.

I have already placed 3 of them into the freezer. I'm sure we will be using one of them before the day is over. I am also bringing one to my little niece that has become quit the climber herself.

Our day at Echo Beach

We had such a great day at the beach today. The kids loved playing in the sand, while little D loved snoozing in the fresh air. What a lucky mommy I am!

Our little girl is 1 month old!

As you can see her big brother and sister can't leave her alone. Big brother loves to hold her while big sister can't stop giving her kisses.

2 little hooligans is still closed

For those of you that have emailed me wanting to purchase items from 2 little hooligans, I am sorry but I am still closed, and will be for a bit. The past month has been a rough one for us. Two weeks after we welcomed our new baby girl to our family my father unexpectedly passed away. So for the past month we have been trying to adjust to life with 3 little ones, and deal with the loss of my father. I look forward to the days when I can stay up till wee hours sewing away. But for now, my focus is on taking care of our little family.

On a happier note, we had a wonderful Easter. The Easter bunny even made a visit to our house!
